Students log in through their student portal and click on the TCI link to go directly to their textbook online. Students can have the book read to them in English or Spanish. Teachers may also assign parts of a lesson to be completed online as well.

Middle School Reading Apps and Websites-
There’s no question middle school can be a big hurdle for readers; students’ skills can stagnate and never recover. Thankfully, there’s some terrific tech out there to help support students’ growth — everything from diagnostic tools to reading communities and eReaders.

Khan Academy has lessons on Math, Science, Economics and Government. Signing up is free and for every lesson you complete you earn badges. You can start with basic addition and subtraction and work your way through calculus.
This link includes information on how parents can get involved, even if they cannot make it to the school. There is also information about homework, parent conferences, television, computers, and testing.
